Kindee1688 The Sacramento Kings franchise is also trying hard to find a way to trade guard Malik Monk before training camp, in an effort to reduce the team’s expenses.

According to a report from the ‘Dallas Hoops Journal’, Sacramento wants to open a backcourt quota to include free agent Russell Westbrook, an MVP, to play the role of second-team leader, supporting the main commander, Dennis Schroder. 

Monk has been linked with the Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors or the LA Lakers in the past, but no serious offers have been made. The main obstacle is his $18.8 million salary for next season, which totals $60.6 million over the next three years. 

Performance-wise, it’s a good investment, as Monk averaged 17.2 points per game last season.  kindee1688
