Superheng1688  Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has revealed that if he had the power to recruit a new striker, he would choose Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez. Superheng1688 

    The Uruguayan striker moved to Anfield from Benfica for a world-record £85million but has been criticised for missing out on opportunities, but York believes Nunez has great potential and would be a good fit for United if he were to be deployed.

    “If I could sign anyone to be a number nine at Manchester United, I would try to get Darwin Nunez from Liverpool,” York told Safefest Casino.

    “Again, I know people might scoff at that suggestion. He’s had a rough run of form and people are criticising him, but I’m convinced there’s a devil waiting to come out.”

    “Manchester United need a player who can be a focal point and give them energy on the pitch. The team needs someone with the physical attributes of Darwin Nunez – he’s someone I’d try to bring in. If I was looking for a number nine at the moment, I’d take a risk on him.”

    “Ollie Watkins is a great striker but I think United need someone with more strength up front. I think if you play him every week, Darwin Nunez will start to shine in the Premier League.”( Superheng1688  )
