Quarterback Russell Wilson, 35, is expecting the end of his career with the Denver Broncos and admits he wants to be where they want him too. According to a report from ESPN on Sunday. ( superpg1688  )

Wilson’s latest comments came as part of an interview with former Spurs wide receiver Brandon Marshall on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast about the uncertainty over his future. Including his desire to win the second Super Bowl of his career.

‘I’m hotter than ever. To be honest Especially the last two years with what I’ve been through,’ Wilson said when asked by Marshall about his aspirations. ‘Whether it’s in Denver or somewhere else, I hope it’s in Denver. I hope to end my career there. I’m determined to go there. I want to be there I want to be there.’

‘For me, it’s about winning. In the next two years, I want to win [Super Bowls] twice. I want to feel the coolness of that trophy again. I love the city and everything. But you also want to be where they need you. All I want to do is win. That’s all I care about.’ 

When asked where he would play in 2024 if it didn’t happen in Denver, Wilson replied, ‘To be honest, I haven’t thought about it.’

‘Okay, I’m going to give Denver No. 1 because I’m there right now. But I think you have to have the ability to share that. Look, it’s a business. And you must not be emotional about it. And whatever you can control, if it’s not (in Denver), I’ve got to get to a place where we can win again.’

‘I hope it stays here. I hope he’s here for a long time,’ Wilson said. ‘I hope we can get more trophies in the hall and win more trophies. And if it’s not here I will be prepared to do that at another place. But I hope it’s here. I really mean it. I brought my family here and everything.’

Wilson signed a five-year, $242.6 million contract with the Broncos in 2022. He will earn a guaranteed $39 million in 2024 whether he is with the Broncos or not. million USD (Salary in 2025) will be guaranteed if he is unable to pass a physical on Day 5 of the new league year in March.
