Villarreal are looking to replace Alexander Sørloth with the Norway international closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid, according to Relevo on Wednesday.  ( sunlit1688 )

Atletico Madrid are looking for a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who has left for AC Milan after failing to sign Girona’s Ukraine international Artem Dovbyk, leading the Rojiblancos to immediately turn their attentions to Sorloth and are close to agreeing a deal with Villarreal.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly offered a fee close to Sorloth’s €38m release clause, with the final price expected to be around €35m and only the final details remain. 

Villarreal are now working to find a replacement for Sorloth, as well as a replacement for goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, who signed for Chelsea this summer.
