Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal in the Premier League’s North London derby on Sunday, making it three consecutive home defeats to their arch-rivals for the first time in the Premier League. 

“It hurts a lot,” Vicario said after the game. “We all feel the pain in the dressing room. We prepared well for the game. We knew it was a special game for our fans, so we are hurt and disappointed.”

“Thank you for the incredible support from our fans. We have to keep our heads up, be proud of who we are and go all out again.” 

Meanwhile, Vicario was criticised by club legend Glenn Hoddle for not coming out to intercept the ball when Gabriel Magalhaes headed in from a corner kick.  ( pgzen )
