Eight minutes in, the visitors almost took the lead when Diogo Dalot’s reckless attempt was intercepted on the right, and Bart van Roy passed to Sam Lammers, whose shot went just wide of the far post.

The Red Devils found a way to break through Twente’s defense until the 35th minute, successfully taking a 1-0 lead. Diogo Dalot tried to turn the ball but was blocked by the away team’s players. However, the ball went to Christian Eriksen who shot into the net.

In the second half, in the 59th minute, Twente had a chance from a free kick. Sem Stein shot with his right foot, forcing Andre Onana to push it behind for safety.

The visitors equalized in the 68th minute when Christian Eriksen was too slow and Sam Lammers intercepted the ball into the penalty area on the right and fired a shot into the near post, 1-1. 

In the 76th minute, Manchester United had a chance to take the lead, but Joshua Zirkze’s shot was saved by the goalkeeper, who deflected the ball behind.

In the 81st minute, the home team attacked again. Manuel Ugarte passed the ball back to Bruno Fernandes, who curled the ball with his right foot just wide of the far post.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with each team getting one point.
