Forest have turned their attentions to Feyenoord’s Santiago Jimenez after failing to secure a deal for Eddie Nketiah despite agreeing a fee of £30m with Arsenal. ( pgzen )

The Athletic reports that the “Foresters” have turned their new target to pursue Jimenez to join the team and have made an offer of around 33 million euros for Feyenoord to consider.

However, the outlet added that the Foresters’ offer is still lower than what the Dutch giants are looking to offload the Mexican international. 

Jimenez was born in Argentina but moved to Mexico as a child and has played for the Mexican national team, scoring 40 goals in 64 appearances for Feyenoord since joining from Cruz Azul in 2022.
