Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said he likes the current squad but wouldn’t rule out making improvements before the Nov. 5 trade deadline, NFL Network reports.

Sirianni is still happy with the Eagles’ current 5-2 record after three consecutive wins, but he’d be happy if general manager Howie Roseman could bring in the right players to bolster his offense.

“I like the team we’ve got,” Sirianni said. “And I think this team is really coming together. That’s what I know. We’re always trying to find ways to improve the team. I know (executive vice president/general manager) Howie (Roseman) is always the best, always looking for ways to improve the football team. I really admire and value the way he operates there.”

‘But like I said, I like the players we have, I think we’re coming together really well as a team, but we’ll see what happens next week.’

Roseman has filled pre-deadline holes in recent years, including trading safety Kevin Bryde in 2022 and adding defensive end Robert Quinn in the same year, as well as trading running back Jay Ajayi, wide receiver Golden Tate and edge rusher Gerard Avery earlier in the year. ( wintime999 )
