Bournemouth had more possession and had more chances than Brighton but could only manage a goal through Justin Kluivert, who equalised, before Danny Welbeck struck the winner to give the Seagulls a home win. ( superheng ) 

“Both teams were looking for a win,” Iraola said after the game. “It was a pretty open game and I liked most of it, but we couldn’t score the second goal and that’s one of the reasons we didn’t have a point.”

“I was happy with the performance but Brighton were better at finishing and Danny Welbeck was a great finisher.”

“We had a clear chance but didn’t score and we have to pay for our mistakes. We have to blame ourselves for the second goal. It was a play we could have defended better.”
