Chidobe Awuzhi, a 29-year-old cornerback, said he is excited to return to the AFC North after signing with the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL Network. sudpung168
“I’m very excited,” Awuzhi said. “I know it’s a very competitive world in this division. It’s a last man standing football game. You have to fight and fight to see who wins every game. Awuzi began his career as a second-round pick in the 2017 draft by the Cowboys. He spent four years in Dallas before moving on to experience three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he showed the most all-around ability of his career, most notably in the 2021 season, where he finished with 64 tackles, four tackles for loss, two interceptions and 14 pass breakups, leading the Panthers to Super Bowl 56, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams.
He then signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the Tennessee Titans, but played in just eight games due to a groin injury and was released by the team this offseason, before ending up with the Ravens on a one-year deal.
‘When I got released from the Titans, it took me a while to sit down and think about what I wanted and where I wanted to go. The same questions I always ask myself, the Ravens tick all the boxes.’
