    Ange Postecoglou’s side have picked up just four points from their opening four games of the season, losing back-to-back to European rivals Newcastle and city rivals Arsenal.

    A defeat at Brentford would see Tottenham lose three of their first five games of a season for the first time since 2008/09 under Juande Ramos, when they made an abysmal start to the season, drawing two and losing six of their first eight games and sacked the Spaniard.
