Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Rayo Vallecano’s Romanian right-back Andre Ratiu if the Spurs lose Spanish defender Pedro Antonio Porro, who is a target for Real Madrid, Mundo Deportivo reported on Friday.

Ratiu has been a constant at Euro 2024 and has been linked with a number of clubs, but no formal offer has arrived at Rayo Vallecano this summer, but the 25-year-old right-back could now be on the move in search of a new challenge. 

Meanwhile, Tottenham are at risk of losing Porro, who is a target for Real Madrid, who are looking for a long-term replacement for Daniel Carvajal, with Los Blancos expected to make a serious move in the summer of 2025. 

Ratiu is currently under contract until 2028 and has a €25m release clause, but could be offered a lower fee as he is keen to leave in the summer of 2025. Spurs will also face competition from Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and Leverkusen for his signature. ( superwin636 )
