“We saw good things. from both halves But after that we didn’t play carefully enough. When winning the ball back and then immediately losing it to the opponent,” Spalletti told Rai Sport.

“I see us playing more as a team. And still play as a team as the game progresses. That’s the basics of the team.

“We had a lot of possession in the first half. and can attack in many moments So we should have scored more goals. But when we let Ecuador push the game, we didn’t give them much space.

“It was a great experience and the players are great professionals. There is a lot of work, discussions and constant traveling. Coordination between the federations And the team’s performance on the field has given us a good tour.”
