Fulham had plenty of chances to score but had to wait until injury time for a brace from substitute Harry Wilson to help the team come from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 and secure all three points in dramatic fashion. 

“It was a well-deserved win,” Silva said after the game. “We started the game attacking and controlled the game. We had two clear chances to score in the first 20 minutes.”

“After they scored we didn’t lose our confidence and belief in ourselves. We kept going at them and created enough chances to not fall behind at half-time.”

“I told the players that this is football, it can happen, but we have to keep trying, working hard and playing our way,” he said.

“The victory came late. It should have come much sooner, but that’s football.” ( wilson88 )
