Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni revealed he is excited to have Saquon Barkley join the team and is confident the 27-year-old running back will add another dimension. The Eagles added former New York Giants running back Barkley to a three-year, $37.75 million deal with the two-time Pro Bowl tight end, making it one of their biggest signings. On the free agent market this off-season, Serianni believes the 27-year-old will add a different dimension to Philadelphia’s offense. 

‘I’m very excited about Saquon and the things he can do,’ said Sirianni. ‘You know he’s a powerful footballer. Both as a running back and what he can do as a passer. He will bring elements to our offense and our team. As far as what we saw of him in all the highlights we saw on tape.’

‘From my understanding and all our homework. He is a good leader and a good teammate as well. Being able to add that to our locker room. And it’s not just his ability to be a playmaker. but also the individual. It’s really important.’

‘How many times have I watched him on the sidelines and played with him twice last year? Three times the year before and twice the year before that.
