RMC Sports reported that Durant was part of the American team that successfully defended their gold medal for the fifth time in a row, while it was KD’s fourth. There are also rumors that this is a farewell to his homeland because he is now 35 years old.  ( sand357 )

Durant is also the most decorated male basketball player with four gold medals (Paris 2024, Tokyo 2020, Rio de Janeiro 2016 and London 2012) and holds the record for most points in U.S. basketball, male or female, all at the Olympic Games in Paris. 

Therefore, he wants to strengthen his love for the romantic city by investing a small amount in Paris, the powerhouse of the French Ligue 1.

He is the latest NBA player to be linked to a European champions club, following LA Lakers superstar LeBron James’s multi-year investment in Premier League side Liverpool.

‘KD’ seems to have a special bond with PSG, as there are old photos of him wearing the home jersey, cruising along the Seine River with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
