But in a fine win, Mikel Arteta had a slight worry when Bukayo Saka suffered an injury and was forced off in the 86th minute to be replaced by Ethan Nwaneri.
Arteta gave an initial update on Saka’s condition, saying: “I don’t know yet. I changed two up front and all of a sudden he’s sitting there.”
“I looked at the bench and the options we had and we had to adapt. I don’t really know what it was, but he couldn’t continue.”
Arsenal have a big midweek fixture ahead as they open their UEFA Champions League campaign at Atalanta on Thursday 19 September, followed by a big Premier League clash at Manchester City on Sunday 22 September.
