Hasan Reddick has agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal with the New York Jets, nearly halfway through the season, after the 29-year-old was embroiled in a contract dispute, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.  ( pgzen )

The Jets agreed to trade Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason, but a contract dispute kept the 29-year-old out of minicamp, training camp and the first seven games of the 2024 season before agreeing to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million, less than the $14 million he was due in the final year of his contract.

Reddick had previously turned down a preseason offer worth $20 million as he sought a longer-term contract, but the deal was ultimately dropped and the dispute was settled on a one-year deal worth just $10 million after paying a hefty fine.

The Jets used Reddick’s fine to pay Devontae Adams after trading the 31-year-old wide receiver from the Las Vegas Raiders, who will earn him a base salary of $16.89 million and a per-game bonus of $510,000, but Gang Green is responsible for a prorated $11.6 million.
