The team said in a statement Friday that Walter was injured in the third quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings. 

The injury occurred during training camp and has caused him to miss the first five games of the new season.  

The 20-year-old has played in four professional games and made his debut on Nov. 1 against the LA Lakers, where he is averaging 2.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 18.8 percent field goal percentage. 

Toronto is currently struggling with injuries including Scotty Barnes , Immanuel Quickley , Bruce Brown and Kelly Olaynik .    ( thaisiambet )
