Will Anderson Jr., a 23-year-old defensive end, believes the Houston Texans will learn from their second straight Divisional Playoff loss to build back from the dead in 2025, NFL Network reports.  popslot

“‘We’re there. I don’t care what anyone says,’ Anderson said. ‘This is a great team. We’ve got a quarterback. We’ve got everything we need. We’ve got to keep adding and keep being patient. We’ve got a team. We’ve got a great team. We’ve just got to keep finding a way.’

‘If you look at all the teams in the AFC, they are finding ways to win, and that’s what we have to do better. We are finding ways.’

The Texans’ defense has been a strength for the team over the final two to three months of the 2024 season, with Anderson playing a key role. He’s seen enough to know what needs to be done together if they’re going to achieve their 2025 dreams.

“It’s great, but we’ve got to win these games in the regular season to keep the home advantage,” Anderson said. “We can’t lose to the Titans and the Jets. We’ve got to beat Detroit. We can’t lose. We’ve got to get the home advantage. That’s going to help us a lot. But if we can’t, we’ve got to find a way to win.” 

The Texans finished 10-7 in the past two seasons and won the AFC South. They played at home in the Wild Card round and won both times by blowouts, but have yet to make the Divisional Playoffs, losing to the Baltimore Ravens last year and to the Kansas City Chiefs this season.  ( popslot )
