Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins, 25, has confirmed he is fully fit to return to the field for Monday’s trip to the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Network reports.

Collins led the NFL in receiving yards with 567 before he suffered a 67-yard touchdown catch in a win over the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 6 and was placed on injured reserve after that, until being removed from the list last week.

The 25-year-old wide receiver, who has missed five games in a row, returned to full training on Friday before Collins confirmed he was ready to return, saying: ‘I feel like me. I feel like that’s a big part of it.’ 

Before talking about missing five straight games, the longest of his career, he said: ‘You don’t want to miss any games, but that’s part of it. It’s a long season, it’s a marathon and you have to take care of your body, but missing games hurts. You want to play with your brothers and score.’

Collins’ return is good news for C.J. Stroud, who has also been struggling since the 25-year-old wide receiver was ruled out with an injury. ( player1688 )
