Patricio signs free-agent deal to keep Atalanta in goal thaisiambet

thaisiambet Atalanta have announced the signing of Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio on a free transfer after his contract with Roma expired. thaisiambet

Patricio left Roma at the end of last season when his contract expired, before deciding to join Serie A rivals Atalanta. 

The 36-year-old goalkeeper made 24 appearances last season but was not offered a new deal and left the club, ending his one-year contract with Atalanta until the end of the season.

Atalanta recently loaned Juan Musso to Atletico Madrid with an option to buy, before signing Patricio as his replacement. 

For Atalanta’s first two games of the season, which began with a 4-0 win over Lecce and a 1-2 loss to Torino, Juan Musso and Marco Carnesecchi were in goal one game each. ( thaisiambet )
