Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has revealed good news that Jordan Love’s MRI scan did not show any serious damage from the groin injury he suffered in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it’s unclear whether the 25-year-old quarterback will be ready to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday, ESPN reports.

Love completed 14 of 22 passes for 196 yards, no touchdowns and one interception before leaving the game with a groin injury early in the second half, replaced by Malik Willis. 

An MRI scan on Monday did not reveal any serious injuries, but whether the 25-year-old quarterback will play against the Lions on Sunday will depend on how Love feels and how he develops throughout the week.

‘Yeah, if he can play, he will,’ LaFleur said. ‘So we’ll see what he’s like this week, but if he doesn’t feel like he can protect himself, we’re not going to put him in that position.’ ( pgzen )
