The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with Jordan Love on a four-year, $220 million deal that will earn an average annual salary of $55 million and a $75 million signing bonus, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports. ( wintime999 )

Love emerged as the Packers’ starting quarterback after Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets in the 2023 offseason. He finished second in the NFL with 32 touchdowns, seventh in passing yards with 4,159 and 11th in quarterback rating with 96.1. 

The 25-year-old quarterback reported to training camp but did not practice to avoid any injury risk until a new deal was finalized, before the Packers reached an agreement with Love on a four-year, $220 million contract that will earn him an average annual salary of $55 million, the NFL’s highest, tied with Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow and Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence.

Now, Love has his future firmly in his hands as he heads into the 2024 season with a young, talented offense under head coach Matt LaFleur who can get the most out of them.
