Sevilla’s 34-year-old Norwegian goalkeeper Orjan Nyland is set to be out for at least two weeks after injuring his left knee in the 2-0 win at Espanyol, Marca reported on Monday. 

Nyland was withdrawn in the 64th minute of Friday’s game at the Stage Front Stadium, with the 34-year-old reportedly set to be sidelined for at least two weeks after suffering a Grade 2 twist in his left knee, with 26-year-old keeper Alvaro Fernandez set to step in for the time being.

In addition, coach Francisco Javier Garcia Pimenta also had additional problems with injuries to two center players, Loik Bade and Tanguy Nyangsu, from the same game.

Bade is reportedly suffering a calf injury, while Nangsu has a hamstring problem, although it is not yet clear how serious the injuries are. However, both will definitely miss Wednesday’s Copa del Rey trip to Las Rozas.  ( vox888 )
