Osimhen has been linked with a move away throughout the summer, but two of the most interested clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, failed to agree a fee with Napoli before the Premier League and Ligue 1 transfer windows closed on August 30.

However, the latest is Galatasaray, a famous Turkish team, who were able to successfully close a deal to acquire Osimhen to score goals on a one-season loan contract, or until the summer of 2025, according to the report of Fabrizio Romano, a famous journalist. 

Napoli have extended the Nigerian striker’s contract until 2026 to 2027 before loaning him out after the club decided, along with new boss Antonio Conte, that he was not in their plans for the season.

In the new deal, Romano reports that the release clause has been reduced to €75m, down from €130m, and that the loan deal does not include a buy-out clause.

Meanwhile, leaked photos have emerged that the former Lille striker is travelling to Istanbul for a medical before signing and being officially unveiled by Galatasaray. ( thaisiambet )
