    However, according to reports from the British media, the chances of Trent staying at the club are diminishing, with the Reds unwilling to pay the player the same huge wages as those paid to Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, whose contracts are also expiring.

    Trent currently earns £180,000 a week, the third-highest on the team but less than double Salah’s £350,000 a week, while Van Dijk is on £220,000 a week.
