Maresca is set to lead Chelsea in a crucial Premier League match, the London derby, at home to Arsenal on Sunday, November 11.

The Gunners are on a three-game winning run in the league and were beaten 1-0 by Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday. 

However, Maresca believes the Gunners are still a strong team, particularly when it comes to set-pieces. “They have a very strong mentality and, most importantly, they have a great skill set when it comes to set-pieces. They do it really well.”

“I watched the Champions League game against Inter Milan and every time there was a corner, it looked like a goal.”

The Italian manager of the Blues also described their city rivals as the closest team to Manchester City. 

“Of course Arsenal are the only team that comes close to the best team in England, Manchester City. They are better than the others.”

“There is only one club that has had the same manager for nine years and another that has had the same manager for five years. That is an advantage.” ( vox888 )
