Newcastle have made a number of offers for Palace to consider for Marc Guehi, with the latest being in the region of £60m plus £5m in add-ons, but the Eagles are holding out for £70m. ( hotfuns )

Talks between the two clubs are yet to break down, but Newcastle are already considering a second option in case they miss out on the England international at Euro 2024.

The Athletic reports that Newcastle are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tabsoba, who won the double last season, and a number of teams are interested.

The Magpies are also interested in Chelsea’s French international defender Axel Disasi.
