Chalobah joined Palace from Chelsea on a season-long deal without an option to buy, with the deal coming to an end hours before the summer 2024 transfer window closed. 

The 25-year-old player, in addition to being a professional defender, also plays as a midfielder. He has made 80 senior appearances for the Blues over the past 3 years, scoring 5 goals.  ( thaisiambet )

“I am delighted to be joining such an ambitious club as Crystal Palace,” Chalobah said.

“I know some of the players in the squad personally and I’m looking forward to playing alongside them in front of the incredible fans at Selhurst Park.” 

He is Palace ‘s seventh arrival this summer following Matt Turner , Eddie Nketiah , Maxine Lacroix , Ismaila Sarr , Daichi Kamada and Chadi Read.
