Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has admitted his disappointment with the result of their latest game, which saw them draw 1-1 with Real Betis, and the overall feeling in the dressing room was similar, Mundo Deportivo reported on Sunday.

“It’s a bitter taste, we needed three points at home but overall we still got points, which is important. Now it’s time to move on because we’re still four points ahead,” Araujo said.

The 26-year-old defender also highlighted the Blaugrana’s mentality, insisting their approach is to take it one game at a time for the rest of the season.

He then spoke about the failed corner defence, saying: ‘Of course, at the end of the day, it’s just the little details and for me it was a clear corner. They played fast, stopped the game and changed players. We always have to fight against everything.’

18-year-old defender Pau Gubarsi felt the same, saying: ‘We tried our best in the second half, but in the first half we didn’t play as well as we should have. The game was slow and the fans were bored,’
