kindee1688 Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is boasting that his shoulder surgery that sidelined him for the rest of the 2017 season went “perfectly” after returning from a six-week physical in Holland.
The ‘Horseshoes’ quarterback underwent right shoulder surgery in January 2017 in hopes of returning to action during the season, but his recovery didn’t go as planned and his injury was so bad that even throwing a tennis ball was painful, leading the Colts to place the 28-year-old on injured reserve and not take a snap. kindee1688
Almost two months since November, Lak went to Europe to rehabilitate his shoulder with a specialist, which greatly increased the confidence of the high-paid captain.
“My fighting spirit and my gut feeling told me I didn’t need surgery,” the former 2012 first-round draft pick said. “I just thought I had to work harder.”
“I don’t want to hear words like ‘Let’s try the ball’ because I know deep down that I’m already good at it and it will improve. That’s all I feel right now.”
As for what he did during his physical therapy in Holland, he didn’t need to get a single injection of painkillers . “Rehabilitation, muscle endurance and light training with a local trainer with the Colts’ staff overseeing it.”
For the 2017 season, the Colts are definitely out of the playoffs and will close the regular season against the Houston Texans tomorrow (Dec. 31).
It is believed that the No. 12 will be able to train fully with the franchise during the 2018 season camp, which is set to begin in mid-June. ( kindee1688 )
