The 6-foot-10, 21-year-old is big for a power forward, and his past contributions have been scoring, stealing rebounds and providing assists as needed.  ( sunlit1688 )

But the off-season has seen him equip himself with skills to win one-on-ones away from the basket and mid-range shooting, as the Heat coaching staff believes the Serbian 2024 Olympic bronze medalist can further develop his potential.

“I would say the biggest thing I’ve worked on over the offseason is my low post, whenever I’m shorter, I’m going to take advantage of that and find ways to attack,” he told the Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“ It’s something I can help our team a lot with .”

“ So I would say that’s the main thing for me, in addition to finding a position to receive the ball or everything else that I’ve been doing .” 

Jovic started 38 of the 46 games last season and is eligible to extend his rookie contract next summer.
