Johnson, a third-round draft pick in the 2015 class, had wanted to be traded from the Browns since the franchise signed former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, but Cleveland refused. The 25-year-old’s demands were due to a desire to keep him available while Hunt is suspended for the first eight games of the 2019 season. 

According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, Johnson has separated from his agent, Kristin Campbell of 40 Sports & Entertainment Group. who looked after his interests previously and had not yet entered into a contract with a new agent 

The Browns plan to trade Johnson as well, but that likely will happen before the October 29 trade deadline, which comes before Week 9, when the Spurs have seven more games to play. Game with the return of Hunt
