New York Giants head coach Brian DeBoll isn’t guaranteeing Daniel Jones’ starting spot following Sunday’s 17-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Germany, and will assess everything as the Giants head into their Week 11 bye week, NFL Network reports.

Jones had a disappointing outing in Germany, completing 22 of 37 passes for 190 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions, while rushing seven times for 26 yards and a score. DeBoll is reportedly considering a quarterback change ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

“We’re going to start this process by going back and looking at everything we normally look at during a bye week,” DeBoll said. “Game plans, situations, techniques, everything you would do during a normal bye week.”

The Giants have lost their past five games to drop to 2-8, and questions have been raised about Jones, who has thrown for just eight touchdowns and seven interceptions this season and has a 79.4 quarterback rating. DeBoll could consider Drew Lock starting in place of Jones in Week 12 against the Buccaneers. ( sunlit1688 )
