    The Scotland midfielder joined the club from Manchester United for £25.7million in the summer transfer window and has impressed, scoring two goals and providing two assists in nine Serie A appearances this season, most recently netting in the 1-1 draw at Inter Milan.

    Antonio Conte, known for his ‘three centre-backs’ system, has also switched to a ‘four at the back’ after McTominay arrived, while Bordin has hailed the signing as ‘a fantastic signing’ for Napoli.

    “It’s impossible for Napoli to do this without players with this skill,” Bordin told Radio Marte on TMW.

    “He has a combination of quantity and quality, he is strong in the tackle without being ugly, he helps the team in the attack, he makes runs and scores goals. It is a great signing for Napoli.” ( pgzen )
