Eli Manning, 38-year-old New York Giants quarterback, insists he still feels young and wants to continue playing football, with no plans to retire from the NFL anytime soon. According to a news report from NFL Network last Friday.  ( superheng1688  )

Manning is entering his 16th year of playing professionally after being drafted by the Giants, his first since 2004, despite entering the final year of his contract. Meanwhile, the Blue Giants also drafted Duke quarterback Daniel Jones as high as No. 6 to be his future replacement.

‘People have to try it from year to year,’ Manning revealed. ‘I’ve been blessed going into my 16th year playing, that’s a blessing in itself. I love what I do. I love my work. You never know if it will be your last year or when it will be your end. So you try to take advantage of the time you’re here and enjoy every moment.’

Throughout his 15-year playing career, Eli was named to the ‘Pro Bowl’ team 4 times and won the ‘Super Bowl’ 2 times, despite being criticized for being in a downward spiral due to his age. But the 38-year-old quarterback believes he’s not too old for Curry and has no plans to retire from the sport. 

‘In the locker room I felt their age,’ Manning said. ‘At 8 p.m. I didn’t feel their age. I was about to go to bed and they were just starting to hang out. I can’t do it and do everything they do off the field. But on the pitch I still feel like I can run with them and they keep me young.’

‘I’m not rushing into retirement and Peyton (Manning) isn’t telling me to rush into that. I still love being around them and my teammates and playing the game. I will play for as long as I think I can with them,’ Elai confirmed.
