Defensive tackle Aaron Donald, 32, revealed that both he and the LA Rams need to rekindle the fire to prove themselves both as a team and as leaders. Playing one in the 2023 season after the failure of the previous season. According to a report from ESPN last Friday.  ( superheng1688  )

Donald is still under contract for two more years, and he’s already done more than enough to become one of the NFL’s all-time best linemen. Wondering what value he still had left. But the 32-year-old defensive tackle believes he has enough motivation to lead the Rams back on track in the 2023 season. 

‘Everyone wants to light some kind of fire. Something that will push you Something to keep you going. And that’s what I’m doing now,’ Donald said. ‘And I feel like we have something to prove as a team. I think I have something to prove as a player. And that’s how we’re going to do it.’

Last year was the first season Ronald did not receive enough votes to finish in the top 5 in the NFL Defensive Player of the Year voting. It was also the first year he missed more than two games after the 32-year-old defensive tackle’s season ended 11 games due to a sprained upper ankle. 

Donald’s injury and the Rams’ failure to defend their championship in Super Bowl 56 ended things quickly, so both the Rams and Ronald will want to prove they can bounce back. Play at a high level again in the 2023 season.

‘I have a lot to prove,’ said Donald. ‘I didn’t have the season I wanted. Obviously just recovering from injuries and stuff like that. I feel like going where you want to go. It’s like starting all over again. It’s a new year. Last year was last year. But there’s a little fire burning inside of me.’

The Rams want to return to the Super Bowl in 2023 after a makeover this offseason, but Donald can help them move in the right direction. And he feels good about his performance after a season that was not good enough in his eyes.

‘I just came here today and was focused on what I had to do today,’ said the 32-year-old defensive tackle. ‘I’m not worried about what’s going to happen next. this I’m just staying in camp this year and trying to keep myself going.’
