The Dolphins sent the first round (No. 29), the second round (No. 50), and the 4th round of 2022, along with the 4th and 6th rounds of 2023, in a trade for Hill from the Chiefs. Before making a new deal with the 28-year-old outside winger with a four-year contract worth $120 million, guaranteed $72.2 million. This includes a signing bonus worth $52.535 million, with the first three years of the contract worth $72.5 million.

The 28-year-old outside wing also thanked those who joined him in giving back to the Kansas City community through his foundation. He also thanked the clan leaders for believing in him.
