With Marc-Andre ter Stegen struggling with an injury, Spanish media believe Barcelona are not seriously considering a new goalkeeper in the summer of 2025. 

According to a report from Relevo, Diogo Costa is one of the goalkeepers that Azulgra is interested in. Some Portuguese media outlets also believe that the 25-year-old is looking for a new challenge for himself.

Costa has been in the Porto first team since 2019, developing into a regular first-choice player and making 13 appearances this season.

With a contract until mid-2027, Porto are ready to negotiate with interested teams this summer and if a good offer comes in, the Portuguese team will likely consider it.

In the case of Barca, despite their interest in Costa, the problem is the player’s transfer fee and the salary cap factor that must be resolved. ( pgzen )
