Como officially announced the signing of Nico Paz on Sunday, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting a fee of €6m, with Real Madrid including a 50 per cent sell-on clause and a buy-back option. ( vox888 )

The 19-year-old has made eight appearances for the Royals’ first team, scoring once in the 4-2 Champions League group stage win over Napoli in November 2023.

Como coach Cesc Fabregas said of his new signing: “He is an exciting talent, left-footed and excellent on the wing as well as in the middle. I am looking forward to working with him.”

This summer, Como have added more than ten new players, including Raphael Varane, Andrea Belotti, Alberto Dossana, Pepe Reina, Alberto Moreno and Sergi Roberto, among others, but they lost 0-3 to Juventus last week.
