Leipzig are keen to keep Olmo after no clubs were willing to pay his asking price, but European media have suggested the Spanish player could decide to request a transfer request himself.

That has led Leipzig to look for an emergency solution, with Cherki now on the radar, and talks with Lyon should not be a problem, with reports suggesting OL are asking for a fee of around €15-20 million.

Now we have to follow Olmo’s situation as well because if the Spanish forward clearly shows his desire to move teams, Leipzig is ready to seriously pursue Cherki immediately.
