The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a two-year, $14 million extension with 25-year-old linebacker Seven Collins, with $11.25 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. ( sakidbet )

Collins, a former first-round draft pick in the 2021 class, had a difficult rookie season before finding his rhythm in 2022, recording 100 tackles, two sacks, one interception and six pass breakups in more than 1,000 snaps. He’ll be less involved in 2023, playing just 636 snaps, recording 3.5 sacks and one interception. 

The Cardinals declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract this past spring, before Arizona reached an agreement with the 25-year-old on a two-year, $14 million deal with $11.25 million guaranteed, giving Collins more confidence in his role with the team and keeping him under contract through the 2026 season.
