Cancelo was sent on loan to Barca by Man City for the 2023-24 season, despite not having any significant honours to his name. 

But the history sheet that recorded him playing under the ‘Azulgrana’ uniform will stay with him for the rest of his life. 

“I can be proud, I am happy to say that I once had the opportunity to play for Barcelona,” he told Record Portugal.

“It is a club that I always support.” 

Cancelo ‘s 2024-25 season performance is satisfactory. 14 matches in all competitions, 1 goal , 6 assists. ( pgzen )
