Bogdanovic, who is currently holding a basketball camp with sponsors Adidas, had the opportunity to explain the images that have become a hot topic on social media, saying that it was nothing more than a nostalgic look back at his professional debut in 2010 with a club in his home country.  ( vox888 )

The Serbian Olympic bronze medalist forward played for Partizan Belgrade for four years before moving to Fenerbahce and eventually crossing the Atlantic to the NBA in 2017.  

“I just want to send my support to the team where I started my basketball career,” Bogdanovic told Blick.

“ Everyone knows how much I love Partizan ,”  

“ I went to their training ground ,  the team allowed me to get back to full fitness , so I wanted to send a message of thanks for that  …  I know people are cheering for me to go back to play for Partizan Belgrade, but my focus is on the NBA right now .”    

“ I don’t want to lie. I want to impress them as much as possible. And when the time comes to really go back, I’m sure the excitement will be the judge .”   

Bogdanovic has  two  years remaining on his guaranteed contract in Atlanta and a team option for the 2026-27 season.
