Bissaka reveals he only had games as a friend when he came to the Red Devils pgzen

pgzen West Ham right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed he felt lonely at the start of his move to Manchester United, with only his PlayStation for company. pgzen

    The England international joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace in 2019 for £50m and spent five years at the club playing under a number of managers before being sold to West Ham last summer.

    Wan-Bissaka said: “It was very, very difficult. I moved to Manchester on my own and it was the first time I had ever moved away from home. I didn’t know anybody except my PlayStation.”

    “Manchester is smaller, everyone is aware of everything that’s going on. You have to be mentally strong to avoid the negatives that come with it – it wasn’t the right decision for me to do that. I had to try to adapt there.”

    Asked if a move to United was too soon, Wan-Bissaka said: “I’ve thought about it before. It could go as far as it wants. I told myself it was too soon, but at the same time I asked myself, ‘Will that opportunity come again?’

    “So I thought, well, if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. At least I tried and gave it my all. That’s my mindset.” ( pgzen )
