Coleman was released by the Panthers less than a week before the 29-year-old safety agreed to a three-year deal with the Saints, the Panthers’ NFC South rival, after talking with the Saints and Cincinnati Bengals in Indianapolis on Thursday before agreeing on a deal with the former.

Kurt Coleman started all 42 games over the past three seasons with the Panthers. He recorded 90 tackles in his first two seasons and also had 11 interceptions. However, Coleman missed four games last season and has no second interception in his eight-year career. ( berlin1688 )
