Italian outlet La Stampa reports that Balotelli has been contacted by Serie B side Palermo, who are interested in a return to Italian football, and are prepared to offer the 34-year-old striker a contract to consider.

Balotelli is still maintaining his physical condition and fitness regularly, as can be seen from his regular posting of clips during training or in the gym. However, what many clubs are still concerned about is his poor image on the field, both in terms of determination, discipline and consistency.

Balotelli also has other challenging options, having already held talks with Brazilian side Corinthians and newcomers San Diego FC, who will join MLS in 2025.
