baconclub66 The New Orleans Saints are interested in signing wide receiver Jimmy Graham, who is set to become a free agent from the Seattle Seahawks.

The franchise tag deadline for each team is Tuesday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET, which is unlikely to be exercised by the Seahawks and will become a free agent after March 14.  ( baconclub66 )

That prompted the Saints, the 31-year-old winger’s former team, to immediately approach him, highlighting his improving performance, 11-5 regular season record and reaching the NFC Conference Divisional Playoffs. 

Plus, working with former quarterback Drew Brees, who threw for Gram, averaged 950 yards and 10.2 touchdowns per year at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Unlike in the Seahawks uniform, his average was reduced to 682 yards and 6 touchdowns. 

Gram played for New Orleans from 2010-2014 and was selected to the Pro Bowl three times. If he decides to return to the team, he may have to accept a pay cut from his current salary of $7.9 million per year.  baconclub66
