John Harbaugh will be joining the Baltimore Ravens as head coach for more than two decades after agreeing to a three-year contract extension with the Ravens that will keep the 62-year-old coach with the organization through the 2028 season, NFL Network reports. baconclub66
Harbaugh has been the Ravens’ head coach since 2008 and is entering the final year of a contract he signed nearly three years ago. He is the second-longest-tenured coach with the organization, behind Mike Tomlin, who spent 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In 17 seasons in Baltimore, Harbaugh went 172-104 in the regular season and 13-11 in the postseason, leading the Ravens to a Super Bowl title in 2012.
Harbaugh is one of only five head coaches in NFL history to lead a team to at least 12 playoff appearances in his first 17 seasons as a head coach, joining Pete Carroll, Bud Grant, Mike Holmgren and Mike McCarthy. ( baconclub66 )
